LMPC 2026 Proceedings

–At this point, the following formatting requirements are not necessary to submit your proceedings by the deadline: March 15, March 30, 2026
–You will be asked to submit your fully formatted manuscript at a later date.

  • Formatting Requirements (LMPC 2026 Proceedings)
    • File Format: PDF (required), with embedded fonts.
    • Page Size: US Letter (8.5″ × 11″).
    • Margins: 1 inch (25.4 mm) on all sides.
    • Columns: Two-column layout for all full, short, and demo papers. Single-column permitted only for extended abstracts if specified in the call.
    • Line Spacing: Single spaced throughout.
    • Font:
      • Main text: Times New Roman, 10 pt.
      • Section headings: 11 pt, bold.
      • Footnotes: 9 pt.
      • Mathematical typesetting may use LaTeX defaults (Computer Modern) if submitting via LaTeX.
    • Title and Author Block:
      • Centered on the first page.
      • Title: 16 pt bold.
      • Author names: 12 pt.
      • Affiliations: 10 pt.
      • Email addresses included for all authors.
      • No ORCID icons or images; text identifiers only if included.
    • Abstract:
      • Required on the first page.
      • One paragraph.
      • 150–250 words.
      • “Abstract—” heading in bold.
    • Keywords:
      • 4–6 keywords.
      • Listed immediately after the abstract.
      • “Index Terms—” in bold, followed by keywords in sentence case.
    • Headings:
      • Level 1: ALL CAPS, bold (e.g., INTRODUCTION).
      • Level 2: Title case, bold.
      • Level 3: Title case, italics.
    • Figures:
      • Number sequentially (Figure 1, Figure 2, …).
      • Place as close as possible to the text where referenced.
      • Caption centered below the figure.
      • Minimum resolution 300 dpi for raster images.
      • Vector graphics recommended for plots and line art.
    • Tables:
      • Number sequentially (Table 1, Table 2, …).
      • Caption centered above the table.
      • Avoid vertical lines; use minimal horizontal rules.
    • Equations:
      • Centered with equation numbers right-aligned in parentheses.
      • Use LaTeX or MathType for proper typesetting.
      • Variables italicized; vectors in boldface.
    • Units and Symbols:
      • Use SI units exclusively.
      • Define all symbols and abbreviations on first use.
      • Do not mix unit systems.
    • References:
      • IEEE citation style.
      • References listed at the end, numbered in order of appearance.
      • In-text citations use bracketed numbers (e.g., [12]).
      • Include DOIs for all items where available.
    • Page Numbers:
      • Do not add page numbers. Production will insert them.
    • Headers/Footers:
      • Do not add any. Only the title may appear on the first page as part of the template.
    • Figures and Tables Placement:
      • Must fit within the column width or span both columns if necessary.
      • Ensure text within figures is readable at 10 pt or larger.
    • Color Use:
      • Color is allowed.
      • Figures must remain legible when printed in grayscale.
    • Accessibility:
      • Provide alt-text or descriptive captions for figures.
      • Avoid color-only distinctions in plots; use markers or patterns.
    • PDF Requirements:
      • All fonts must be embedded.
      • No security settings or password protection.
      • No watermarks.
    • LaTeX and Word Templates:
      • Authors must use the official LMPC 2026 templates for either LaTeX or Word.
      • Do not modify page geometry or font settings.
